It’s finally autumn – not just on the calendar, but all around. Trees are turning warmer tones, the air is growing colder, people seem a bit quieter, and everything feels a little more still. With each return of this season, the same words rise in me: I love autumn! It’s as if my favourite kind of energy has spilled into every corner of the world. It’s magical, isn’t it?
So here I am, contemplating this ordinary autumn morning. No distractions, no nonsense – just me and (very soon) my work, wrapped in this refined silence. What a blessing!
Lately, I’ve been thinking about what this whole blog was meant to be – and how, so far, it’s been almost none of that. But I kind of like it this way. It’s a work in progress, and some parts of it even surprise me, though I’m the architect. That’s how life works sometimes, right? We’re just more or less rigid in sticking to our construction plans.
Anyway, back to the question of this blog’s purpose – I wanted it to be many things. And I still do, to some extent. But being honest with myself, and looking at things as they are, I’ve realised I mostly just want to write for the sake of writing – for the joy of sharing thoughts and experiences with whoever happens to stumble across this little corner of the internet.
So, for a while at least, if you return here, you’ll find a few words about ordinary life – written with the simple hope of making you laugh, smile, or think.
I truly hope you enjoy your stay here!
