Everyone is leaving. I wouldn’t expect to be so emotional about it, but here I am; crying on the floor. It feels as if people, places and moments were jumping off this cliff of the present into the unfolding ocean of the future, while I’m standing still, petrified.
As much as this goodbye breaks my heart, I know there’s always something beautiful and exciting in every single end, slowly spanning into a new beginning.
I’m so grateful for all the amazing moments I could have lived in this chapter of my life. I know the right people will stay, no matter the distance, and other will come.
To those of you who are going their own way, may the luck and love always be by your side. And for those I haven’t met yet, I’m patiently looking forward to getting to know you.
